Frank is a long time war-gamer and painter from Long Beach, California. He’s been painting for 20 years, moving from a hobbyist to a more serious painter.
Frank started out in wargaming way back in 1998. At the time, he was drawn in by the art of John Blanche. The macabre and almost psychedelic nature of Blanche’s work caught Frank’s imagination, and he was off and running. Over the years, Frank began to take miniature painting more seriously, working to develop a style that puts the viewer of each piece in a certain mood. Today, Frank tries to create and paint miniatures that not only look great as single pieces, but as large armies on the table. Ultimately, Frank wants to paint armies that tell a story, beyond just looking good.
